Northwest Missouri State buried Missouri Southern early in the second half on the way to a 73-56 road victory to close out the regular season.
The Bearcats (24-4, 20-2 MIAA) went on a 16-0 run that stretched from the final minute of the first half, through the 14-minute mark of the second half to put the Lions on ice.
Northwest shot 55.8-percent from the field, and hit 11 of 26 three-point attempts.
Wes Dreamer posted a game-high 20 points and eight rebounds.
Bennett Stirtz and Daniel Abreu each finished with 14 points.
The Bearcats now get set for an MIAA Tournament quarterfinal matchup with Missouri Southern or Missouri Western at 6pm. Pregame on KXCV 90.5/KRNW 88.9 begins at 5:30pm.
