The Northwest Missouri State women's basketball team started its Oklahoma road trip with a win over Northeastern State, 71-69. 

Janya Green set a new season high in points with 17 tonight - a game-high.  Lindsey Kelderman scored 14 points with Peyton Kelderman following with 12 and Molly Hartnett with 10.

Northwest improves to 11-2 overall and 5-2 in conference play, while Northeastern State drops to 5-7 overall and 1-5 in the MIAA. 

The Bearcats will travel down the road to Claremore, OK on Saturday to take on the Rogers State Hillcats at 1:30 p.m.
